I took the term ONE TEAM, ONE FIGHT - from the Marine Corps. It's meant to focus the unit on the mission at hand, to bring many different Marines together to all work towards a common goal. Thus, it seemed like the perfect fit for this cause of National Service I am embarking on.
The point is to bring all Americans together towards a common purpose. Instead of us fighting with each other, instead of our leaders in politics or the media dividing us along different racial, religious, cultural, idealogical lines, why don't we start putting into place rules/laws that bring us all together. Imagine the power of millions of American citizens all working together towards a singular goal. The possibilities are without limit.
The more I talk about this subject, the more I think I may be on to something. I guess only time, and course of this blog, will tell.
