just a quick thought tonight....President Obama is here in NYC going to fundraisers while our commanders and troops on the ground in Afghanistan still await his decision on troops. Today we had the Secretary of Defense Robert Gates say that the decision cannot wait for the results of the election run-off, as administration officials had hinted over the weekend. Secretary Gates is no neo-con. He has been such a moderate force at the Pentagon that President Obama kept he onboard after his election. So, when a man like Gates is publically prodding the President to make a decision already, we should all take notice.
Put simply, the idea that we are still waiting is absurd.
But, again, as I have mentioned many times already, the public is distracted with more health care billions and a ballon boy.
